Anxiety & Depression
Living with anxiety or depression - especially during seasons of transition, growth, or uncertainty - can feel overwhelming. For many women, these experiences show up quietly at first: the constant mental load, the pressure to hold everything together, or the sense that you “should” be coping better. Over time, these feelings can build into patterns that make daily life heavier and harder to navigate.
These experiences don’t happen in isolation. They’re shaped by your history, the expectations placed on women, the pressure to keep up, unresolved trauma, perfectionism, and the invisible emotional labour many women carry every day.
Anxiety might look like:
Persistent worry or overthinking
Feeling on edge or easily overwhelmed
Difficulty concentrating or staying present
Irritability or emotional reactivity
Physical tension, tightness, or restlessness
Trouble falling or staying asleep
Feeling worn out despite “not doing enough”
Panic symptoms such as shortness of breath or a racing hear
Depression might show up as:
Ongoing sadness, heaviness, or numbness
Losing interest in things that once brought joy
Changes in sleep or appetite
Chronic exhaustion or low motivation
Feeling inadequate, guilty, or “not yourself”
Brain fog or difficulty making decisions
Thoughts of hopelessness or self-doubt
How will I help?
As a therapist, I provide a compassionate, grounding, and trauma-informed space for women who are tired of holding it all together on their own. Together, we explore what’s beneath the anxiety or depression—whether it’s perfectionism, burnout, past trauma, relationship stress, identity shifts, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself.
Using evidence-based approaches tailored to your needs, we work to:
Understand your patterns with curiosity instead of shame
Strengthen your nervous system and build emotional regulation skills
Release old beliefs or survival strategies that no longer serve you
Restore a sense of balance, agency, and self-trust
Create space for joy, rest, and the version of yourself you want to grow into
You don’t have to navigate any of this alone. Therapy is a place where you can exhale, be fully supported, and reconnect with who you are beneath the overwhelm. I’m here to walk with you as you move toward clarity, healing, and a more grounded, empowered version of yourself.
